POINT-to-point enthusiasts will be crossing their fingers for the rearranged date on Sunday for the North Herefordshire Hunt fixture at Whitwick Manor, Newtown, Lower Eggleton.
The original eight-race card of 202 entries stands, though the start of the first race has been altered to 1pm.
Frank Morgan, entries secretary for 'more years than I care to remember!', has split the maiden event into three divisions.
Traditionally, the left-handed undulating course is popular with owners wanting a 'galloping track', and equally so with spectators as it has superb viewing from the natural grandstand.
The course is situated close to the busy junction of the A417 and A4103, 8 miles north-east of Hereford.
