Ledbury Town returned empty-handed from Tividale following this West Midland Premier Division clash on Saturday that saw defender Chris Powell sent off midway through the second half.

TIVIDALE 3, LEDBURY TOWN 0

The game started brightly with both sides going close. For Ledbury, a fierce shot by Nick Welch flew just wide and a snap-shot from Robbie Colwell just cleared the bar.

The home side then began to dominate the midfield and Ledbury's chances became less and less.

Tividale took the lead when a poor throw-in was intercepted and Wayne Aston ran through to slot the ball past Dimitri Dimitrov in the visitor's goal.

With Ledbury forced to constantly defend it was no surprise when Andy Price scored from close range on the stroke of half time to make it 2-0.

The second half started with Ledbury having to rely on quick breakaways but chances were still scarce. Their plight worsened midway through the half when Powell was red-carded for dissent.

The remainder of the half saw Olchek, Green and Jones working hard to keep the dominant Tividale at bay but they could not prevent John Clarke's tap-in near the end.
