PEOPLE who get a podiatry service at Ross Road Health Centre in Hereford will have to take their feet elsewhere.
From this month most of them will move across the city to be treated at the Gaol Street Clinic.
Herefordshire Primary Care Trust says the facilities there have been extensively refurbished and will provide a more pleasant environment.
Patients who attend Ross Road clinic for diabetes-related treatment will in future attend the new diabetes centre at the County Hospital.
"The move will mean that patients and staff will have the benefit of the improved facilities at the Gaol Street clinic and the County Hospital'', said Catherine Blackaby, locality manager for foot health services.
All patients will receive letters explaining the changes. Podiatric surgery will continue at Belmont Abbey.
Podiatry is now the official word in foot care. It has taken over from the word chiropody and is said to be a more accurate title.
