Eardisland advertises itself as an "historic riverside village", yet for the last three years, the only riverside walk has been "temporarily" closed.
This long-established right of way has been denied to villagers and tourists for 40 months and still the council has not made a decision.
Herefordshire Council prides itself, rightly, on its Festival of Walks which brings visitors and income to our countryside.
Eardisland attracts many visitors each year, yet their only experience of the river is either by looking over the bridge or pacing the small patch of grass beside the bridge. The "temporarily" closed right of way provides a circular walk that used to be enjoyed by many villagers and tourists in the past.
