Ross Services clinch title from first play-off game

Their visit to Lads Club resulted in a 4-0 win to maintain a 100% playing record, while in the other play-off game Leominster Minors and Ledbury Swifts shared a 1-1 draw

FC Phoenix Milan and Hinton both reached the Under-11 Division play-offs after recording victroies, Hinton against Ross Town and Milan against Belmont.

Under-10 Hinton recorded only their second league win with a comprehensive result against Weobley Colts.

Wins for the top teams - Ledbury Swifts, Bartes-tree, Ross United Services, Leominster Minors and Hereford Junior Dynamos - maintained their interest in the play-off places. Lads Club, with games in hand, could still make the top four.

Under-16 Belmont Rangers' hopes of the championship declined. They were beaten 2-1 at Ledbury Swifts and had a player sent off. The league has never been so unpredictable and any one of seven teams could walk away with the championship.

Westfields, Lads Club Colts, Bartestree and FC Phoenix all moved into the second round of the Under-12 IMI Mouldings Cup.

Westfields did particularly well, recording only their second win of the season, while FC Phoenix needed penalties to decide their tie with Ledbury Swifts.

A disputed goal with just 90 seconds remaining was enough to give Hereford Junior Dynamos maximum points and keep their Under-14 Division title hopes very much alive. Bartestree's win at Ross United Services kept them in second spot but it is Wellington, with games in hand, who could eventually make claim to the title.

Another win over rivals Leominster Minors for Lads Club in the Under -15 League Division made them firm favourites and the competition seems now to be who will claim the runners-up spot. Pegasus Juniors dropped a valuable point at Fownhope, while Bartestree Colts where without a game and have fixtures in hand.
