GROUP PARISH COUNCIL - The February meeting of the Group Parish Council was held on Monday in the Wormbridge Centre. Mrs Davies Chairman welcomed the new Community Support Officer Lawrence Hull and District Councillor Phillip Turpin. After approval of the minutes and correspondence, councillors discussed various items such as five- day presence in the HALC office which is welcome. They also expressed concern that the Herefordshire Council's road gritting programme does not include some school bus routes or a road into Kilpeck village. The clerk was instructed to write to the Electoral registration officer to express the council's concern at receiving an invoice for uncontested electoral expenses amounting to £1.33 per elector. Parish matters included the proposed survey for a Parish Plan. The meeting closed with the chairman reminding councillors that there is a meeting on March 1 at 7.30pm to discuss the Parish Plan and the next meeting of the Group Parish Council is on Monday, April 5, at 7.30pm.
