MORE than 26 acres of land opposite Tenbury High School has gone on sale. Offers are being invited, but no guideline price is being given.
It is advertised as being "of particular interest to developers and investors", by selling agent John Amos and Co of Leominster.
Tenbury High School head teacher Mr Stuart Cooke said: "The sale is creating a lot of interest, because Tenbury is such a sought-after area.
"If the area were developed for housing, our school is full and would need expansion work to cope with the new pupils that a new estate is bound to bring."
Although no planning permission has been sought, the topography, say the agents, offers certain merits.
John Amos and Co says it is keen to receive all forms of interest including a conditional contract, subject to planning of some or all of the land.
