Food and drink industry businesses in Herefordshire are invited to challenge the experts at the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Business Festival 2004, Three Counties Showground, Malvern, on Wednesday.
The Food and Drink Information Centre will be exhibiting at the festival and asks small businesses in the food and drink industry to contact them with their queries, no matter how unpusual.
The Hereford-based centre provides a single point of contact for enquiries on all subjects from West Midlands businesses involved in the food and drink industry. The free service is funded by Advantage West Midlands and hosted by Business Link.
Among the other attractions at the event, organised by the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce and Business Link and which opens from 9.30am to 4.30pm, is the Royal National College for the Blind stand. Help and advice is available to employers on the Disability and Discrimination Act - which comes into force in October.
Also represented is the Prograta Fund, set up last year to sustain business in rural Herefordshire and Worcestershire. Technology co-ordinator Ian Page said: ''We are inviting small to medium-sized enterprises to apply for matched funding.''
