OCCASSIONALLY a production comes along that confirms everything that should be cherished about amateur theatricals.
A combination of original music, professional direction, an interesting story, an inspired set and clever costumes made for the sell-out success which was Gladestry's community production of Alice Through The Looking Glass last week.
In a team effort that involved much more than just strong performances on stage - though a beautifully serene Alice, a wondrously dotty White Queen and a suitably absurd walrus made for spell-binding action - congratulations must go to all involved.
