DAVE Hamer and Bob Trimble will meet in three finals after the preliminary rounds and semi-finals of the Herefordshire County Veterans Table Tennis championships were played at Whitecross School.
In the singles semi-finals Hamer beat Harry Jutle, and Brimble beat Steve Farr to book a Finals Day meeting, at Whitecross School on March 19.
They will also contest the doubles final when Hamer teams up with Jutle and Brimble with Trevor Davies.
And, just for good measure, the pair will meet in the super veteran singles final after prevailing against John Hunt and Richard Owens in the semi-finals.
The restricted veterans singles final, for those who have not previously won the main singles title, will see Davies meeting Farr.
Juniors have also been in action and brothers Greg and Josh Price will figure in all three finals.
They will battle it out for the county junior singles title, but will join forces for the pairs event against Shaun Chambers and Nick Wilson.
Josh will also try to lift the cadet crown when he takes on Chambers.
The finals at Whitecross School on Sunday, March 19, will start at 8.30am and 46 men, women and boys will compete for 12 different titles in an action-packed day.
