VIOLIN virtuoso Nigel Kennedy is set to visit one of his favourite haunts, Malvern Theatres, next month.
Joined by the English Symphony Orchestra, he will present an evening of Vivaldi concerti for violin, cello and harpsichord.
Kennedy's recording of Vivaldi's Four Seasons made the composer hugely popular and widely recognised - yet over three-quarters of Vivaldi's work has yet to be performed.
With that in mind, Kennedy put together his current project, The Vivaldi Experience, to be performed in Malvern on March 11-12.
Taro Takeuchi, performing on lute and baroque guitar, will join Kennedy on stage. Members of the ESO include Michael Bochmann and Janet Masters on violin, David Ponsford on harpsichord, Paul Arden Taylor on oboe and Peter Adams on cello.
Tickets are available on 01684 892277 or online at www.malvern-theatres.co.uk
