HEREFORDSHIRE Council is advising users of the Etnam Street car park in Leominster that two Thuja trees will be removed from the rear of the site on Sunday.
The work will be undertaken by specialist tree surgeons J.A. Fisher Tree Surgery and is expected to cause minor inconvenience to users of the car park and Grange Walk, although the car park and footpath will remain open.
The trees, which are approximately 50 years old and in close proximity to a wall, are very fast growing and have completely out-grown the location in which they were planted.
They are now causing severe damage to a walled garden, an important feature within the local conservation area.
