The other division one game saw Fromes Hill entertain Morgan Aero 8 and they were unlucky not to take their first point of the season when they went down narrowly by the odd goal in five.

Morgan took the lead when a shot from Marcus Eden was well saved by home keeper David Morris, only for the ball to drop at the feet of Mike Griffin who made no mistake.

It became 2-0 when Jordan Miller headed home a Richard Bird cross and 3-0 when Marcus Eden's shot took a cruel deflection.

But if the visitors thought the game was over they were in for a shock as Fromes Hill staged a rousing fight back. They pulled a goal back with a free kick from James Howard from 25 yards, then pulled it back to 2-3 when a Chas Jones shot hit the bar and Scott Parker was in the right place following up.

In the President's Cup there was one rearranged first round game, Vauxhall AFC beating Great Malvern 4-0 to win a trip to Morgan Aero 8 in the second round next Sunday.

There were two ties played in the 2nd round. Talbot Head entertained Kempsey United A and progressed to the semi final with a 5-2 victory.

The other tie finished 4-4 when second Division Madresfield entertained 1st Division side Club AC 30. Madresfield's goals came from Richard Probert, Steve Brooks, Adam Morse and Luke Arnold, with the visitors clawing their way back from 0-3 thanks to goals from Danny Haywood, Jonathon Creba and a brace from Sven De Feyta.
