FOR 40 years, originally as the Wiggin Pantomime Group, Hereford Amateur Pantomime Society has transported audiences to the land of make-believe.
Saturday night was no exception when Cinderella (Nicole Dillon) and Prince Charming of Romantica (Tina Virgo) held the spotlight.
Cinderella was fast paced from the moment Baron Hardup (Dave Riley) charged on stage in riding gear.
Musical director Richard Glasspoole, on his first excursion with the society, filled The Courtyard with song.
The chorus and junior chorus were put through their paces by choreographer Amanda Evans in her 21st year with HAPS.
Buttons (Will Skelton) was an audience favourite, along with ugly sisters Rosita (Patrick Taylor) and Lolita (Dave Piears), who were a hoot in their boudoir.
Fairy Godmother (Clare McFarlane) and Dandini (Muriel Smith) kept the fun going with the help of Hercules the Horse (Karen Evans and Pete Taylor).
Seats are selling well for the dream coach to the ball, directed by Dawn Taylor, which runs until Saturday. Box Office 01432 359252.
