A ROMANTIC farm worker married his childhood sweetheart in fine style before whisking her away in a John Deere tractor on Valentine's Day.
Tractor-mad Kevin Cooke has been obsessed with farm vehicles since he was a child so it seemed obvious that when he married his girlfriend of 10 years, Marie Amos, their carriage would be large, yellow and green.
"Everywhere you look in our lounge there are model tractors
"The colour scheme is definitely yellow and green!" joked Marie, who works for BUPA.
They met when they were 15-year-olds attending the Minster School.
Kevin, who works at Cawley farm in Ashton, proposed to Marie six years ago when the couple set up home together in Leominster.
"We couldn't decide whether to get married or have a baby. But then our daughter Grace came along and our engagement just drifted on and on really," said Marie.
During their romantic Valentine's Day wedding at Leominster Register Office, two-and-a-half-year-old Grace enjoyed being a flower girl while Marie's sister Gemma was a bridesmaid.
"We have just moved house so we couldn't really afford to have a honeymoon but we are hoping to have a family holiday in June instead," added Marie.
