I WAS really upset and shocked when I saw the new bus station at Leominster, which is supposed to be finished.
It faces south-west, so getting the full force of the wind and the rain from that direction. When it rains one cannot sit down as the seats are too wet, and even when it is not raining the wind makes it uncomfortable.
Surely a front should be put on to protect the bus users, as at the Shire Hall where one can sit in comfort and even read a book. Spaces could be put in such a front to allow passengers to get on and off.
If the council is serious about getting people out of their cars they will have to do more to make waiting for a bus less unpleasant experience.
