Newent Association for the Disabled's One Stop Shop in Church Street is now providing a mass of information.
The shop is not just operating as a base for Dial-a-Ride bookings, it also has wheelchairs for loan, if disabled people wish to shop in Newent.
Based next door to the Shambles Museum, it is also acting as an information centre for nursing homes, residential homes, day care centres and health care services in the Newent area.
Staff will also be on hand to give advice on the completion of forms and if necessary expert advice can be called in at no cost to the person being helped.
The shop is also selling craft goods made by regulars at the Sheppard House Day Centre and items, such as furniture, that do not fit easily into the Charity Shop, which is also in Church Street. Further details on 01531 821227.
