HINTON extended their recent run of good form by moving through to the third round of the West Midlands League Division 1 League Cup with a 2-0 win at Walsall Wood on Tuesday.
Hinton created a number of good early opportunities before Simon Gwynne opened the scoring after 10 minutes and their victory was ensured with a Ross Semple goal midway through the second period.
Bromyard Town, however, were knocked out of the Premier Division Cup at the second-round stage by a 3-0 home defeat to Newport Town.
