Kington Town 3 Ettingshall 1
STRIKER Lee Ferney-hough celebrated his return to the Kington attack after an extended period of absence with a brace to keep his team very much in the West Midlands League Premier Division title race.
After being denied by a couple of fine saves by the Ettingshall goalkeeper the lively home attack finally found a way through to open the scoring in the 19th minute.
Kevin Gwilliam threaded a ball through the visiting defence for Ferneyhough to pick up and hit the target with a first time volley.
Ettingshall played their part in an entertaining game as both sides attacked at every opportunity.
Ferneyhough bagged his second goal in the 79th minute when Steve Radziejowski made a break down the left and swung over a cross for Ferneyhough to head home at the far post.
The home back four, with Dave Howes outstanding, had been particularly solid but they relaxed to let substitute Dan Mason in for a solo goal.
This stung Kington back into action and Chris King made sure of the winning points with a rasping drive from the edge of the box.
