Leominster'S forward pairing of Karen Hackley and Laura Stubbs were in irresistible form as the North Herefordshire side overwhelmed county rivals Ross-on-Wye 14-2 in the West Clubs' Women's League North Division 1.
Stubbs and Hackley each scored six goals with Kate Holder grabbing the other two as Leominster ran riot against their below-strength opponents in the local derby.
Kate Cameron scored both goals for Ross who had done well to keep the score to 4-1 at half-time.
Leominster's win kept them ahead of Hereford who got back on the winning trail with a 3-1 success against bottom club Bretforton.
Di Feely gave Hereford the lead in the early stages and Rachel Wreyford doubled the tally before the break.
Although Bretforton pulled a goal back, left-back Daisy Jackson sealed the win with a late strike.
Hereford 2nd extended their lead at the top of Severn Division 2 after beating Brockworth 2-0 and seeing nearest rivals Colwall suffer a 4-2 home reverse against Chelten-ham 3rd.
Dwyn Jones gave Hereford the lead from a penalty corner but the city side had to show their mettle in defence, with Claire Annett outstanding, before Lisa Ferneyhough's second-half strike confirmed the victory.
Tenbury fought back from a two-goal deficit against visiting Stourport to claim a draw which kept them in touch with the leaders in the Worcester League Division 1.
After Stourport scored twice from a penalty stroke and a short corner, Tenbury drew level with goals from Rachel Croxton and Abi Thomas who netted from an Oli Linton pass.
