Another third, but this time somewhat more ravished by critics, the final piece of this celluloid jigsaw incorporates spectacular battle scenes and a wonderful summing up of previous story strands. At three-and-a half-hours you are advised to take a cushion, and be prepared for the butterflies and saccharine ending.

Lost In Translation (15) Dir: Sofia Coppola.

Bill Murray and starlet-of-the-moment Scarlett Jonansson portray a wonderously emotional story of love in foreign climate.

The former is an actor who is these days making his fortune making whiskey ads with an English bling in Tokyo, the latter a young wife in the wilderness who is travelling with her husband.

Terrifically sensitive, it satisfies every emotion.
