PATIENTS at Hereford's Charles Renton Unit will soon be sitting more comfortably thanks to the fundraising efforts of Danny Macatear and Ben Jones. Last October, Danny and Ben took to the skies for a parachute jump in aid of the unit. The event was organised by Councillor Sally Robertson, who had been involved in Danny's first attempt seven years ago. "I was delighted to be asked," said coun Robertson. "The unit requires funding to provide additional comfortable seating, and I'm pleased to say the jump raised £935 towards their £2,500 target. Thanks also go to the Lions Club, Tesco Belmont and H & H Security, Leominster for sponsoring the training." Anyone wishing to make a donation should call Councillor Robertson on 01432 769459.
