Hereford United's busy week continues on Tuesday with the visit of Telford United to Edgar Street who will be keen to take revenge following The Bulls shock away win at Christmas.

That defeat in fact marked the start of a downturn in results for Telford who were fourth at the time but have now slipped below Hereford in the Nationwide Conference.

The decisive goal on Boxing Day came from Scott Goodwin - his first since joining the club in the summer - and capped a superb team performance by the Bulls on a bitterly cold afternoon at a packed New Bucks Head Stadium.

It also earned Hereford their first victory in six league outings and their third away win of the campaign and more importantly the win moved the Edgar Street club away from the relegation zone.

This time round the boot is on the other foot and Robinson is well aware Jake King's side will be anxious to claim revenge.

"They will be desperately seeking points to halt their slide down the table," he said.

"Since that game they've not had the best of runs and when you look at them it just shows how soon you can move up or down in this league with either a good or a bad run."

On reflecting on Hereford's season to date Robinson has plenty of 'what ifs' to mull over as he considers his side's mid-table position.

"We had a good FA Cup run but were unlucky to lose to Swindon and we were unfortunate with the last minute goal in the FA Trophy," he said.

"Even if you look back to the Leigh RMI game with the way we have been playing we were confident of picking up three points which would have taken us up to fifth and suddenly it looks like you are having a decent season.

"But having said that other teams can point to bad luck so really you just have to try and be consistent."
