LEADING scorer Gavin Williams could be leaving Hereford United after failing to sign a new deal.
The talented 21-year-old, who joined the club as a YTS player, will be free to talk to clubs when his contract runs out on May 4.
United's director of football, Graham Turner, admits he can understand the youngster mo-tives for considering a move to a new club.
"I can see where Gavin is coming from because he's been here for five years and perhaps feels that he needs a change," he said.
Meanwhile Bulls' defender Matt Clarke has had an operation on a groin problem.
The Edgar Street stalwart play-ed in the Bulls' 1-0 win over Dag-enham on Tuesday night which ensured the club's Nationwide Conference survival.
n Westfields were defeated 1-0 by Tipton Town in the first leg of their West Midlands League Cup semi final last night, while Pegasus beat Harrow Hill 4-2 in the Hellenic League Premier.
