KIDDERMINSTER Harriers midfielder Andy Brownrigg has rejected a £25,000 move to Scottish club Greenock Morton.
The 23-year-old former Hereford United player failed to agree terms with Morton boss Allan Evans and has now flown out to join Harriers' Danish tour.
Harriers boss Jan Molby, who had accepted Morton's bid, said: "I'm happy that Andy is staying because I think he is a very good player.
"I accepted the bid because I thought it was a fair valuation of the player. However, I am pleased that he has decided to stay and fight for his place because I like the lad."
Harriers play the first game of their five-match Danish tour at Kolding tonight - Molby's home-town club.
On Saturday Kidderminster play FB Copenhagen, and next week take on Vordingborg on Monday, Farum on Tuesday and Hornbaek on Wednesday.
HEREFORD United kick-off their pre-season friendlies at Oldbury United tonight (7.30).
Director of Football Graham Turner goes into the match still searching for a new striker to replace Leroy May, whose contract was cancelled last week for disciplinary reasons.
He said: "We have spoken to one or two players and will continue to do so until we get what we want."
New signings Matt Gardiner and Michael McIndoe are expected to make their debuts, while defenders Chris Lane and Paul Sturgess are both slight doubts with knee injuries.
Striker James Wall is due to resume training in three weeks' time after breaking his leg late last season.
The fixture has been arranged as a thank-you to Midland Alliance side Oldbury, who allow Bulls part-timers John Snape, Rob Elmes and Gardiner to train with them.
