Hereford United Director of Football Graham Turner has called on his defenders to try and sharpen up their act.
United, who visit Yeovil Town in the Nationwide Conference tonight (7.45), beat Doncaster 5-3 in an Edgar Street thriller on Saturday.
And while he was delighted with United's attacking play, Turner said he was concerned at some of the goals conceded.
The Bulls' five goals have made them top scorers in the Conference so far this season with 16 goals.
"Certainly going forward we looked exceptionally good," said Turner. "We scored five and had seven or eight other good chances.
"We are scoring goals for fun at the moment, which is a marked change from last season.
"It was a very good performance attacking-wise, but we conceded a couple of sloppy goals at the other end. You attack and defend as teams and we aren't doing that at the moment.
"We have worked on that in training and we hope to put that right."
United must make an enforced defensive change tonight as full-back Matt Clarke starts a two-match suspension, which will also rule him out of Saturday's trip to Southport. Chris Lane will replace him.
Goalkeeper Mark Jones stands by to start the game after replacing Andy Quy during the Doncaster game. Quy is rated as very doubtful with a knee injury.
Fifth-placed Yeovil, who are six places above United, scored five goals themselves in a 5-2 triumph at Welling on Saturday, and Turner added: "It will be a fair test for us."
