Hereford United Director of Football Graham Turner admits his players are feeling the effects of a punishing start to the season.
Tonight's Nationwide Macmillan Trophy first round clash with Sutton United at Edgar Street (7.45) is already their 15th game of the season.
Turner said: "We have only missed one mid-week so far, and there comes a time when players do get a little bit tired, lethargic and heavy-legged. In the second- half against Scarborough on Saturday we looked like that."
United retain the same squad that drew 4-4 with Scarborough for the clash with Sutton, although Turner could make one or two changes to the starting line-up.
Sutton held United to a 1-1 draw on the opening day of the season, but Turner has no intention of treating the game lightly.
"We want to win and it is at home, and we don't want to lose any games at Edgar Street. We will hope to do things right and go through to the next round."
