GRAHAM Turner believes Hereford United have a chance of making more FA Cup headlines against mighty Leicester City tomorrow.
United's Director of Football acknowledges his side faces a stiff task against the team currently sixth in the Premiership in the third round tie at Edgar Street (1pm).
But he hopes the players will thrive on the atmosphere of an 8,800 full house and pull off a victory to rank alongside their famous win over Newcastle in 1972.
The bookmakers rate Hereford as 7-1 against to win tomorrow's game, with Leicester 4-1 on.
Turner has been unable to watch Leicester personally but has sent scouts to two of their games, and said: "We have a good picture of what they are like and what they do.
"It is one of the toughest draws we could have had. They are a very powerful side and have a lot of players that have experienced lower league football.
"Records would suggest that the gap between Conference football and the Premiership is too wide to be bridged.
"Stevenage and Rushden have both come close in the last two years, but I believe Sutton beating Coventry was the last major upset to this season.
"But we have our dreams and you never know - it might just be our turn again."
The BBC's Match of the Day cameras will be at Edgar Street tomorrow, and Turner added: "One thing that I desperately want is to do ourselves justice and put up a performance that we can be proud of. If the gods are on our side then it could be our day.
"It will be a full house and it should be a super atmosphere -- we hope it is a good day."
United are expected to field the side that beat Hartlepool in the last round, meaning first round goal hero Leroy May will have to be content with a place on the bench.
If tomorrow's game is drawn, the replay will be at Leicester's Filbert Street ground on Wednesday, December 22.
