IN-form Hereford United have a chance to make it 12 games without defeat in the Nationwide Conference when lowly Woking visit Edgar Street tonight (7.45).
Now third in the table, Director of Football Graham Turner will be confident of stretching that run to maintain their outside chances of launching a late title challenge.
He said: "It has been a good run and we need to keep it going, just in case the top two slip up.
"On the face of it chances are very slim, but you never know how the top two are going to react to the extra pressure as we come to the end of the season."
Woking, who are one place off the bottom, lost 2-0 at home to the Bulls back in October.
But they have just brought in former Yeovil boss Colin Lippiatt as their new manager to succeed the sacked Brian McDermott.
And Turner warned: "They have better players than their position would suggest. We have to be wary of it."
Turner is likely to stick with the side that beat Hednesford on Saturday, although striker Paul Fewings and skipper Ian Wright could be fit enough to return on the bench following injuries, after both did a spot of light training yesterday.
Striker Rob Elmes will be looking to continue the form that has brought him four goals in the last three games and a recall to the starting line-up.
Turner added: "He was looking a little bit tired and lethargic after his endeavours against Leicester and in the two Kidderminster games.
"But he has come back completely fresh and rested and shown that he is an important and integral part of our team."
Hereford (from): Quy, Lane, Sturgess, Clarke, James, White, Rodgerson, Snape, May, Elmes, Parry, Williams, Taylor, Warren, Shirley, Rudall, Wright, Fewings.
Meanwhile, Hereford's game at Kingstonian next Wednesday has been called off as several Kingstonian players have been called up by the England non-league squad. No new date has yet been fixed.
