THE sound of tip tap toes was a new addition to Hereford Cathedral Junior School last summer.
Ex-professional dancer Sara Sills, who took over Hereford Ballet School in July, was excited at the opportunity to relocate the school in the Cathedral School buildings.
"It's benefited everybody," she said.
Tim Lowe, headmaster of the Cathedral Junior School, is delighted with the development.
"Sara is an exceptional dance teacher and her work with our younger children has been a revelation. Boys and girls look forward to her lessons with great anticipation."
Pupils in the nursery and reception forms at the Cathedral Junior School are able to enjoy the tuition the ballet school offers as part of their curriculum in movement and dance.
With a purpose-built sprung floor, and the use of three studios, Sara is keen to emphasise that after school hours it is open to the general public.
She has over 350 students registered to study ballet, tap, modern, body conditioning and jazz.
