LEOMINSTER Golf Club captain in 2003, Terry Morgan asked members to support Herefordshire Headway as his chosen charity for the year and £870 was raised.
This came from a number of events, including an invitation day, and a drive penalty on the infamous seventh hole when members and guests who failed to drive past a line on the fairway were invited to make a contribution to charity.
Sheila Sanders accepted the cheque on behalf of Herefordshire Headway, a branch of the national charity that helps with the care and rehabilitation of adults with acquired brain injury.
