Hereford athlete Simon Bullock will be looking to make his mark when he takes part in the National Championships in Sheffield this weekend.
There had been some doubt over whether the 23-year-old would be able to take part due to work commitments but happily the situation has been resolved to allow Bullock to run in the 800m.
Bullock's best time this season in his chosen event is 1m 52.42sec, the third fastest indoor 800m run in the UK this season.
Last summer, Bullock just missed out on the Midlands title, so this year he will be looking to take that championship as well as earn a place in the AAA outdoor championships.
l Ewan Short won a silver medal in the 3000m at the Welsh national championships at under-15 level and not at under-25 level as reported in last week's Hereford Times.
