For the past 23 years, Hereford Wye Valley Rotary Club has been providing services and raising money for charity. However, last year proved to be one of its most successful years. In the last six months of 2003, the Rotary Club held several major fund-raising events for the benefit of many local organisations: David Evans and John Morton raised over £1,800 (including £100 from two members who won a Rotary Golf Competition) in a sponsored cycle ride from Land's End to John O'Groats.
