PARKING problems at Hereford County Hospital could soon be a thing of the past.

Councillors are to write to hospital managers to ask for better parking for visitors.

Despite recent improvements with more spaces at the end of building work, the health scrutiny committee still thinks there is room for improvement at the county's hospital.

At last Thursday's meeting, Councillor Godfrey Davis asked if more spaces could be reserved for the disabled and Councillor Peter Jones said better access must be provided for the air ambulance to land outside the hospital.
