PASSENGERS aboard a city coach bound for a spectacular laser and firework show brought a fund for terminally ill county children to more than £400.
The partygoers were on a night out arranged by MaggieMay Coach and Theatre Trips and were supporting Acorns Children's Hospice Three Counties Appeal too.
Run by Hereford friends Maggie Matthews and May Peberdy, the not-for-profit club for theatre goers made its first excursions a year ago.
The money was raised during raffles on trips to Singing in the Rain, Sunset Boulevard, The King and I and to gardens.
"Holding raffles on the journeys helped to swell the funds to £402," said Maggie.
Outings start again in March with a West End Production of Buddy in Birmingham. In April a trip is planned to see CATS at Wolverhampton.
