DETAILED plans on Acorns' planned £4million children's hospice will be presented at a public meeting at Hereford Town Hall on Wednesday, February 26.
Organised by the city's Lions Club, the event begins at 7.15pm and is a chance for everybody interested in the project for life-limited children to meet. It will also involve a video, a cheque presentation ceremony for fundraisers and a glass of wine.
Lions president, Terry Williams, said: "The Acorns appeal is undoubtedly the most important fundraising project in Herefordshire this year. Everyone with an interest in Acorns will want to be there."
The Acorns Children's Hospice Trust has received backing from The Hereford Times and its readers since the appeal was launched last spring.
