A 'TREEMENDOUS' fundraising idea which will help with Acorns' fundraising to build a new children's hospice has been launched in the run up to Christmas.
Instead of sending traditional cards, Herefordshire schools, colleges, businesses and organisations can send their festive messages on a specially designed Christmas tree poster, which has space for 25 messages.
"We're suggesting each message costs £1 so a completed poster is worth £25. If we can distribute 200 posters that would mean an extra £5,000 towards our Three Counties Appeal to build the new hospice," said Fran Winterbourn, community fundraising co-ordinator for Acorns.
"I hope lots of local businesses and schools will sign up and help make a difference to local life-limited children and their families." Contact Fran Winterbourn on 01905 767676.
