A COUNTY club is to host an evening of live music in response to the launch of a £4 million fundraising appeal to build a hospice for seriously ill children.
Supporters of the Acorns Childrens Hospice are invited to The Welsh Club, Ross Road, Hereford, to dance the night away to music from rock n' roll to country and western.
Taking to the stage on the evening of Friday, April 26, will be Herefordshire duo Twilight, as well as a three-piece male band and a guest appearance by one of rock and rolls greatest legends.
"There are some really good acts and there's something for everyone to enjoy. We hope lots of people will come along and enjoy an evening of fun and entertainment to raise money for Acorns," said organiser, Gordon Thomas.
The cash will help Acorns build and equip a new hospice for life limited children across the three counties in Worcester.
The event starts at 7.30pm and tickets are available on the door or from Candy's Castle sweet shop by the swimming pool in St Martin's Street.
