MEMBERS of a Hereford bikers club broke records for their favourite charity when they rode 200 miles in convoy for sick children.
The massive fundraising effort for Acorns and the charity's planned new children's hospice for the three counties saw a record 156 riders on motorbikes, scooters and mopeds, set off from the Rose and Crown pub in the city for Aberystwyth.
Hereford Motorcycle Club raised £2,500 in entry fees alone and expect to break their £6,000 fundraising target when sponsorship money is collected in.
The Ledbury Road pub will support the charity again on June 29 with a disco night.
