A TIME capsule containing artefacts from a Herefordshire charitable organisation will be set in stone inside Acorns new children's hospice.
Hereford Lions Club's Peter King is inviting people, clubs and organisations to send in their names and address with a message, letter heading or other small item, to be sealed inside his capsule with a donation for Acorns.
"By contributing to the sealed time capsule everyone can be part of the history of the building of Acorns Hospice, and one day in the future when it is found and opened, your part in the fundraising will be there to be seen," said Peter.
Artefacts from Hereford Lions Club include their Welsh slate jubilee coaster, a medal from their charity canoe race and a signature from Hereford mayor Alan Williams inside his book 'Mr Mayor'.
Peter's money raising ideas for Acorns include a walk on Sunday, April 27, next year.
Capsule donations and items should be sent to Hereford Lions Club, PO Box 158, Hereford, HR1 1WS. Cheques are payable to Hereford Lions Club.
