Hereford United will bid to cash in their chips at Scarborough's McCain Stadium tonight (7.45) and stay in the hunt for the Conference title.
Second-placed Hereford, out of action for a fortnight, resume their campaign six points adrift of leaders Chester City in a crucial encounter in Yorkshire.
With two games in hand, the Bulls can rein in the Blues but Bulls boss Graham Turner warns there is no room for slips.
Unfortunately, despite victory against the Seadogs back in September, United's trips North have proved less than fruitful for Turner's teams.
However, Turner is confident his team has the character to grab three points. But United will be without suspended left back Michael Rose, a scorer in September's 2-1 win. Dean Craven is set to fill in for Rose with midfielder Ben Smith back after serving a one-match ban.
Turner admits the club's Conference ambitions will require a repeat result and is hoping two weeks out of the fray has not blunted their appetite. "We'll see whether this break has been a benefit tonight but we have had the opportunity to get Steve Guinan and Andy Tretton fit," said Turner.
"Steve is likely to be on the bench and to some extent Andy would be ready but he's just a little way off. It's an important match because we need to stay in touch with Chester with one of our two games in hand.
"Scarborough is always a difficult place to go but I think we've got enough character to get a result."
FORMCAST: Bulls to nick it 1-0.
