Youngsters with Newent's Wildlife Watch Club are making sure that the recycling message is getting across.
The club has mounted a new exhibition at Newent Library and plans to carry out a special questionnaire in town next month.
The group's colourful exhibition in consists of posters and other material created specially by the children. One of the things highlighted is the Forest of Dean's successful kerbside recycling scheme.
Club spokesman Ginny James said: "We've been focusing on recycling as a group and in February we'll be going out into the community with a questionnaire, to see how many people are making use of the recycling scheme.
"It will also encourage the children to be more aware of the importance of recycling."
