HEREFORD United's enforced break from action will give key players Steve Guinan and Andy Tretton extra time to recover from injury.
The Edgar Street club face two free Saturdays due to scheduled opponents Telford United's FA Cup clash with Millwall tomorrow and their FA Trophy exit to Exeter which leaves them kicking their heels the following weekend.
Guinan (knee) and Tretton (thigh) are both making good progress and could be fit in time for the Bulls next fixture at Scarborough on Tuesday, February 3.
United boss Graham Turner has also dismissed reports linking the club with Tiverton Town's Nathan Rudge.
Speculation that the Bulls were in the process of putting in a £25,000 bid for the striker have been quashed by Turner. "I've never even heard of him," said the United boss.
Meanwhile, John Hill is ruled out of Westfields' clash with Causeway United at Moor House tomorrow (3pm).
The centre half has a thigh injury but Scott Jackson will take his place while Derek Craddock is set to return up front following a spell on the bench.
Matt Beale (knee) is also out but the Midland Alliance side will be hoping to make it three wins on the bounce following wins against Stourbridge and leaders Stratford.
