A LEADING cider producer is being featured in the new series of the Taste for Success on ITV1.
The award-winning Westons Cider, of Much Marcle, will be featured on Sunday, February 15, at 5.30pm.
"We were delighted when Carlton approached us to do this documentary," said managing director Helen Thomas. "It's been very exciting and great fun for everyone having the TV crew on site over the last few months. We are very excited to have a whole programme dedicated to cider making and to Westons."
The show is presented by Tony Francis, who also fronts Heart of the Country. The 30-minute documentary will include interviews with Paul Keetch, MP for Hereford and chairman of the All Party Parliamentary Cider Group, and Ted Bruning, of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA).
The documentary will also feature the history of the Weston family from 1880, when founder Henry Weston first started producing cider commercially at The Bounds.
The company remains a family concern, with 87-year-old Norman Weston as chairman and his daughter as managing director.
Prince Philip visited the company last year during the Queen's tour of Herefordshire.
