THE reliability of local trains will be discussed at a meeting of Malvern Hills District Council.
Leader Tom Wells is backing a motion supporting the Ledbury Reporter's campaign for local rail services to be improved.
He will propose that the council supports the paper's public meeting in February to discuss the issue with representatives of service providers and Network Rail.
"I'm increasingly concerned about the reliability of local train services with passengers left stranded on stations and the services being unreliable to Hereford and up to Birmingham," he said.
The council meeting is on Tuesday (January 27), at 7pm, at Priory Lodge Hall, Avenue Road, Malvern.
