Ledbury Ceramics on the Homend Trading Estate has secured an important contract to design and glaze transfers onto a new selection of Japanese-style bowls and dishes.
The company, which also operates the Glazydayz Ceramics Caf, was chosen for the work by the Cheltenham-based company Yakibox.
Yakibox's product designer David Mlynski said: "We chose Ledbury Ceramics as they offer the seemingly rare service of commercial decoration and glazing of ceramic items.
"The expert knowledge and friendly reception I received from the staff at Ledbury Ceramics also tipped the balance."
Ledbury Ceramics currently has a contract for 800 Yakibox pieces.
But owner Jackie Hole said: "This is a nice concept altogether, and hopefully it will continue and develop into an ongoing thing."
