The great, wide world came to John Masefield High School on Tuesday for an activity day that featured a giant inflatable globe.
The globe represented the planet Earth and doubled as a very special classroom.
A total of 178 John Masefield High School pupils, all in Year 8, learnt about issues including good citizenship, refugees and human rights.
A maximum of 34 children at one time could enjoy lessons inside the globe, which is seven metres in diameter and was brought in by the Fair Trade Centre in Malvern, which has links to Oxfam.
Year 8 teacher Joy Black said: "We had a citizenship day.
"The globe was absolutely amazing and the children produced good pieces of work on the issues that arose, such as fair trade or responding to other cultures."
