WITH a government trying to encourage tourism and farm diversification, Herefordshire Council would be failing future generations using this holiday route in the Golden Valley.
It seems there's a lack of an overview, with piecemeal solutions to Hereford's problems.
Recycling needs to be done on a small scale and as close to source as possible, not trying to deal with all of Herefordshire and south Worcestershire at one inappropriate location on the south side of a city with traffic problems.
The council should be encouraging and allowing us to recycle in our own homes. Correct rubbish disposal should be at source not at the expense of the desecration of an area of outstanding natural beauty. Where are the coded receptacles for separation and recycling on individuals' doorsteps!
