A CONTROVERSIAL proposal to build more than 60 homes on the outskirts of Ross-on-Wye has been given planning permission by Herefordshire Council members.
Cardiff-based developer Lovell Partnerships put forward the plans for 66 houses near to Walford Road, opposite the Vine Tree Inn.
Councillors at yesterday's (Wednesday) southern area planning meeting voted in favour of the application, which has attracted opposition from residents in nearby Tudorville who raised a petition.
