Pegasus Juniors 1
Didcot Town 4
PEGASUS Juniors' mini-revival suffered a setback when the Cherry Red Records Hellenic League Premier Division leaders produced a spell of four goals in 15 minutes either side of half-time.
Didcot swiftly moved into the attack and Scott Hodgetts in the Pegasus goal produced a fine save from a Lee Fuller shot.
But the home side were not overawed by the opposition and Lewis Summers fired narrowly over before Mike Symonds saw an on-target shot saved.
Two minutes before the interval, Didcot took the lead against the run of play when Paul Powell's cross was headed back by Andy Marriot for Andy Parrott to open the scoring.
Early in the second period, Paul Bedwell tapped home a corner from Mike Ford, the son of former Hereford United manager Tony Ford, and Marriot added a third shortly afterwards.
With the visitors making the most of their purple patch, Concannon found the net to make it 4-0.
But Pegasus continued to take the game to Didcot and their efforts were rewarded close to the end.
Adie Harris wriggled clear of the home defence and his cross was tapped in by Summers for the youngster's first goal for the club.
